Users can move their mouse over a word in German, English, Spanish, or Russian to see the translation instantly. The application works in conjunction with programs such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, ICQ, and Outlook Express etc. The translation capabilities of the program are helpful in several ways. When faced with unknown words in IM messages one can simply mouse over and get a quick translation of it. That saves quite a bit of work such as cut the word, paste to get a translation or even move away from the page you are working on. You typically would need to do when you come across an unknown word on a web page is to copy it to the clipboard, launch a translation or dictionary program, paste the word from the clipboard, and click a button. You get the same features when browsing websites. It is compatible with three major browsers; the Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera. TranslateIt! also works with the three most commonly used browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Opera. When reading a web site, just scroll over text to translate words. You can use the highlight function to get a phrase, a verb or a group of words. When the application is unable to translate some word, it`ll try and break down the word into simpler ones and give the user a meaning anyway. The program works with English, Spanish, German, and Russian. The utility has the ability to determine the language so that there is no need for a separate input from user required to identify the language. Also, German and English are spoken by native speakers to ensure correct pronunciation of the words.
Overall: Really a convenient way of getting an instant translation.
